Logiciel Flashcard / SRS

Si vous débutez dans l’apprentissage des langues, les cartes mémoire sont des outils quasi essentiels à votre apprentissage des langues.

Les programmes Flashcard et le logiciel SRS (Spaced Repetition Software) fonctionnent en vous présentant les mots, puis leurs traductions, l'un après l'autre, puis en vous questionnant à plusieurs reprises afin d'engager la zone de rappel de votre cerveau. SRS est actuellement le meilleur moyen de mémoriser le vocabulaire.

Anki

Anki est l'émission la plus populaire mettant en vedette SRS. Il est disponible pour Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS et Android. Tout en étant le plus puissant, il est aussi un peu compliqué à apprendre. En raison de sa puissance, il vaut généralement la peine d'apprendre à l'utiliser, en particulier si vous êtes féru de technologie.

La façon la plus simple d’utiliser Anki est de télécharger l’un des nombreux logiciels disponibles. L'inconvénient est que ceux-ci peuvent ne pas être particulièrement pertinents pour vous ou ne pas être disposés de la manière que vous préférez. Les meilleurs decks à télécharger sont probablement les plus populaires commandés par fréquence de mots.

L’avantage d’Anki est que vous bénéficiez de nombreuses fonctionnalités. Vous pouvez supprimer des cartes que vous connaissez, régler le nombre de nouvelles cartes affichées, la fréquence d'affichage des anciennes cartes et bien plus encore. Il est très important que l'utilisateur lise le manuel et apprenne à utiliser le programme correctement. Voici quelques démonstrations vidéo claires illustrant son fonctionnement.

Si vous utilisez Anki pour créer vos propres cartes mémoire, vous devrez apprendre à utiliser ce programme encore plus en profondeur. Anki vous permet de modifier l’apparence des cartes, le type d’information que vous montrez, que ce soit pour vous montrer les deux côtés ou un seul, et bien plus encore. Cela se fait généralement en créant un nouveau jeu, en y allant, en appuyant sur "ajouter", et en se renseignant sur les types de jeu et sur l'utilisation des boutons "champs" et "cartes". Devrais-je utiliser des images ou des traductions de mots pour mes cartes mémoire?

Il vaut mieux ne pas y voir un choix binaire de l’un ou l’autre. Les deux font des choses différentes, et différentes personnes réagissent différemment à différentes techniques. Déterminez ce qui fonctionne pour vous. Quoi qu'il en soit, utiliser les deux semble être idéal, alors faites-le si vous le pouvez.

Devrais-je inviter avec le mot anglais et mettre le mot étranger au verso, ou invite avec le mot étranger et avoir l'anglais au dos?

Les deux manières sont bénéfiques, mais elles font des choses différentes. Vous inciter à utiliser le mot étranger vous incite à vous engager avec le mot de manière réceptive (comme lorsque vous écoutez ou lisez), et inciter à utiliser l'anglais vous encourage à vous engager avec le mot de manière productive (comme lorsque vous parlez et écrivez). Ce qui fonctionne pour vous peut dépendre de votre technique d'étude. Si vous faites beaucoup de traduction, vous obtiendrez peut-être plus de la récupération réceptive puisque vous en faites moins. Si vous lisez beaucoup et que vous parlez peu, il sera peut-être préférable d'organiser vos cartes mémoire de manière à ce que vous soyez obligé de récupérer de manière productive. Le choix t'appartient. Il est à noter que ce n'est pas un choix binaire. Also, note that there are two Assimil courses available in Occitan from French.

The first one, the 1975 edition, is the best. Consider "buying" it searching for "Assimil occitan" in rutracker.org. You will also find the 2014 edition, but don't use it. The speakers on its tapes are not natives, and the course is much smaller.

Academic Explanatory Dictionary of the Ukrainian Language – The eleventh-volume "Dictionary of the Ukrainian Language," which was published in 1970 – 1980, became the first explanatory dictionary of the Ukrainian language in the history. Almost all modern Ukrainian explanatory dictionaries are based on it, in particular the "Great Dictionary of Contemporary Ukrainian Language" and the updated "Dictionary of the Ukrainian language in 20 volumes", published by the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in 2010. The dictionary is made up by a large team of scholars by Ukrainian literature from the time of Kotlyarevsky until 1980. Below majority of interpretations in the dictionary, real cases are adduced for the use of words that illustrate its meaning. Despite the obligatory political engagement at the time of its release, this Dictionary is an indisputable treasure of domestic lexicography.
